What is the recovery period?
The final result can take upto 6 weeks to appear. There are hardly any immediate post operative problems. Mild pain easily managed by analgesics can persist for 2-3 days. Mild soreness and some areas of numbness can persist for a little longer, but are not a cause of concern. The patient needs to wear a pressure garment for 6 weeks. This allows skin contraction and prevention of seromas and hematomas formation
