17, year old patient presented with active acne lesion

Patient History:
Patient active acne lesions were not controlled in spite of taking various medicines at various places.

Treatment adviced at FOS:
Patient was advised oral antibiotic in the form of Azithromycin (250mg) alternate days, along with oral Isotretinoin 20ml daily for three months
Azithromycin was stopped after 2 months.
Topically patient was advised Benzoylperoxide (2.5%) night time application & Clindamycin during day time.
Along with this patient was given salicylic acid peels every 2 weeks.
Patient was however advised to use non oily based sunscreens and avoid cosmetics and any form of facials. She was recommended to use Salicylic acid face wash.

Down time:
There was no down time involved after Salicylic acid peel as it a pure OPD procedure.

Treatment Results:
Patient drastically showed improvement within four weeks of treatment.
These pictures show before and after treatment that is after four sitting of salicylic peels.

There were no active lesions at the end of 3 months but there were definitely few visible pits which were taken care of with PIXEL LASER. Only 2 sitting were required.
