Blepharoplasty is a procedure with great emphasis on perfection, involving the removal of extra tissue over the eyelids to give a "younger" look to the eyes. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, and the patient is only admitted for a day in the hospital. This can be performed alone, or it can be performed in conjunction with a brow lift. Bruising and swelling subsides in 2-4 weeks & final results are visible within 1-2 months.
