A patient walked into our centre with a tattoo embossed on his left hand. He was a potential candidate for an Airline job and wanted to get rid of the tattoo.

Treatment recommended at FOS:
The patient was advised to take a treatment with our latest Q switch Laser from Alma to get the tattoo removed.

Q switch laser helps in the breakdown of pigment into fine particles which are later carried away through the macrophages thereby clearing the skin.

Treatment:
Three sittings of Q switch laser therapy were given at an interval of 3 weeks which cleared all the pigmentation. The tattoo was removed completely to the clients satisfaction.

Post care recommendations:
Topical antibiotics, ointments and sunscreens were prescribed to the patient to prevent any post -inflammatory hyper pigmentation.
